All Our CMS websites includes the WP Google Maps plugin. With this plugin you can create custom Google Maps with high quality markers containing locations, descriptions, images and links. After create your customized map you can add it to your site quickly and easily with the supplied shortcode.
To access the Maps plugins options locate the Map link on your website administration menu (see image to the right).

How to create a new map

Creating your Map
- From your WordPress menu go to Maps. Your Maps screen will display.
- To create a new Map click on Add New button at the top of the screen
- Once your Map screen is open give your Map a name in Map Name field and the Dimensions required.
- Click on Save Map button.
- You will see a preview of your map in the middle of your screen.
Use your mouse to change the layout of your map, modify the zoon positioning, etc, as you do in any Google maps.
When you have positioned the map to your desired location, press Save Map to keep your settings.
Adding a Marker
- From your WordPress menu go to Maps. Your Maps screen will display.
- From the list of maps select the map in which you want to add a marker on. Click on Edit.
- Scroll down the page to find the Add a marker area
- Add a Title and an Address for your map.
- Fill the rest of the fields as required.
- Click on Add Marker button.
tip: you can add multiple markers to the same map following the same steps above, a list of your markers will be displayed at the bottom of the page.
Delete a Map
- Click on Maps link in your WordPress menu.
- The Maps screen will be presented to you. From the map list locate the map you need to delete.
- Click on the Trash link located under the Map Name.
Edit a Map
- Click on Maps link in your WordPress menu.
- The Maps screen will be presented to you. From the map list locate the map you need to amend.
- Click on the Edit link located under the Map Name
- The Edit mode screen for your Map will be open to you, here you can edit any settings for your Map (title, marker, zoom, position, etc).
- When you finish doing all your changes click Save Map button.
Displaying a map in a page
- In order for the map to appear on your website, you need to copy and paste the map shortcode into a page.
- The shortcode for your map can be found at the top of the page when you create or edit a map.
- Copy and paste this shortcode into the page you want to display your Map. It should look like the image to the right.
- Once done, click on the Publish or Update button on your page and view the page. You map should show automatically on the page your published.
