Add Link into your Content

A link is one or more words, or image that you can click on to go to a new page or an external website.
If you want to make a list of links to your favourites websites in your sidebar or footer visit the Link Manager section.

Instructions

1. Open the page where you want to add a link in.
2. To link text: Highlight the text you want to link (as per image)
   To link an image: click once on the image to select.
   
3. Click the Insert Link icon on the tool bar
   

To link to another website

1. A popup window will appear (see image) – fill in its fields as below:
   URL: Enter the web address of the link – include http:// at the start for external websites.
   Title (optional): Enter a title for the link, this will be shown when a visitor hover over the link.
   Open link in a new window/tab: Tick this box if you want to open the link in a new tab. We recommend you tick this option so your website will not closed and your visitors don’t go away from it.
   
2. Click on Add Link button
3. Don’t forget to click on Update to save your page changes.

To link to another page inside your website

1. In the same popup window as above click on Or link to existing content (see image) – a list of your existing pages will be shown.
   
2. Locate and click the title of the page you want to link to you text or image. The URL and Title fields will be filled in automatically.
3. Click on Add Link button.
4. Don’t forget to click on Update to save your page changes.
