Once you have created a slideshow it is time to share it on your website. You can use your slideshow in any page on your website.


Instructions

Once you have created a Header Slideshow, you can either set this as your Default header slideshow or just on a particular page if you wish.


To Change Default Header Slideshow

This can be changed by going to General Settings -> Widgets. On this page you will see a Slideshow Widget on the top right of the page, click to expand the slideshow options as shown in the image below. You can then select your desired slideshow from the Slider dropdown box, then Save your changes.

After saving your changes it is recommended to clear your cache to ensure that all updated content is viewable by your website visitors.


Change Header Slideshow On A Per Page Basis

Open the page you are wanting to change the Header Slideshow for in edit mode. In the Page Type box on the top right of the page, select Header Type as Slideshow. Below this option you will have a field to enter the slideshow ID that you wish to display on this page as below:

To find the correct slideshow ID you will need to go to Media / Images -> Manage Slideshows. Once the page loads you can find your desired slideshow ID as below:

Make sure to click the Update button on your page to save your changes. After saving you may need to clear your cache to ensure that all updated content is viewable by your website visitors.

Open the page you are wanting to add a slideshow for in edit mode. Place your mouse cursor within the page where you are wanting the slideshow to sit, then click on the Add Slider button as shown below:

You will then get a pop up window to select the correct slider to appear in the page. You will need to click on the correct slider and click the Insert Slider button as below:

The slider will then appear as a Shortcode in the page edit mode as below:

You will then need to click the blue Update button to save the changes on the page. After saving you may need to clear your cache to ensure that all updated content is viewable by your website visitors.

For single property websites you can now add slideshows for dynamic pages i.e. Rooms & Rates pages. As the images on these pages are coming from iBex, you could previously only show one image per room type on these pages. You can now create slideshows that will replace your iBex room images on these pages. Please click here for instructions.
